Estimate questionnaire

When you press Send request, the estimate questionnaire saves what you entered: your name, preferred contact method and email address or phone number, ZIP code and town, the services, tree count and size you chose, yard access and nearby-structure details, cleanup and timing preferences, your notes, and any photos you attached. Nothing is sent before you press Send request.

Requests are used to review your job and reply to you. They are stored with our website hosting and database providers (Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase infrastructure) and are accessible only to the business owner after signing in. Photos are kept in private storage, are never publicly listed, and are viewed through short-lived links. Before storing, photos are converted to new JPEG images, which removes embedded metadata such as camera details and GPS location. To limit abuse, we keep a one-way hashed form of the submitting connection's IP address; it is not linked to your request record. Hashes older than one day are deleted automatically the next time anyone submits a request, so with no new requests they can remain longer. We do not currently send automated emails about requests. Please do not include sensitive information or photos of people.

Email enquiries

You can email jabbar@workwithbar.com to ask about tree services. Emailing sends your address, message and any attachments through email providers to our inbox so we can review and respond. Send only information and photos relevant to your enquiry; avoid sensitive documents or images of other people. The email link opens your email app and does not send automatically.

Website visits and providers

The website uses Lovable hosting and traffic/reliability analytics, Cloudflare delivery/security, and Google Fonts. These services receive technical information required to respond to browser requests, which can include IP address and browser information. Site analytics records visit times, page addresses, referring pages, browser/language information, approximate country, session identifiers, engagement and diagnostics to understand usage and troubleshoot problems. Avoid putting private information in page URLs.

Cookies

The current analytics uses a session-id cookie with a 30-minute lifetime that can renew during activity. Cloudflare also uses the __cf_bm security cookie, normally expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can block/delete cookies in your browser; this may affect functionality and does not prevent all technical requests. Cookie lifetimes are not the same as server-side retention periods.

Retention and requests

Saved estimate requests and photos are kept until they are no longer needed to handle your enquiry or until you ask us to delete them; this notice does not specify a fixed retention period. Email correspondence and provider-operated technical records can persist beyond a browser visit. This notice does not specify a fixed retention period for those records. For questions about information held in connection with your enquiry, or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email jabbar@workwithbar.com. We may need information to verify and respond to a request.

Changes

This notice will be updated if website data practices change, for example if automated notification emails are introduced.
